Ralph W. Kirschkel - Councilman

Councilman Ralph W. Kirschkel is a lifelong resident of the Town of Haverstraw. He is an Assistant Operator for the Haverstraw Water Recovery Facility.  He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Town of Haverstraw Democratic Committee and has served as Deputy Mayor, Trustee, and Chairman for the Citizens’ Advisory Board for the Village of West Haverstraw. Councilman Kirschkel is also a graduate of Leadership Rockland and a current member of North Rockland Rotary Club, as well as, past president in 2021-2022.  He is a member of the S.W. Johnson Fire Company and a committed volunteer having served on the Haverstraw Little League Board and as its league coordinator. He graduated from North Rockland High School and Rockland Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. Councilman Kirschkel resides in Garnerville with his wife of 28+ years, Lori, and their son Trent. His mother, Grace, continues to reside in his childhood home in West Haverstraw.
