Welcome to the Town of Haverstraw web site!


The Town Board and I hope that the information provided to you will assist you and inform you about Town Government and the services that we render and also discover the opportunities and amenities that the Town of Haverstraw offers to our residents.

Our website will keep you updated on the many recreational and cultural activities that have been scheduled.

I am proud to be the Supervisor of the Town of Haverstraw. Haverstraw is rich in its history, its culture and its people. It is a great place to live and learn. Our future is bright and there are many things happening in Haverstraw which include the County Waterfront Park, development of a town park in the unincorporated area, youth and senior activities and much more.

Dates and Hours of Registration

Starting March 1st through October - Monday through Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Monday Evenings: March 18th & 25th April 1st, April 8th, April 15th, April 22nd and April 29th; 5:00PM - 7:00PM 

Saturday Mornings: March 16th & 23rd April 6th, April 13th, April 20th and April 27th; 9:00AM until 11:00AM

 

Procedures and Information

The Philip J Rotella Memorial Golf Course has a new software package for 2024, GOLFNOW. ID CARDS ARE NO LONGER APPLICABLE.  AN EMAIL ADDRESS is required to purchase a membership. All past member’s information has been migrated to the new software. Everyone must have a new Photo taken for the new software in 2024. Everyone must appear in person to register for 2024 and must show 2 proofs of residency (one form of ID must be a New York State Driver's License). You may apply for a membership on the dates listed above.

 

Required: 2 Proofs of Residency (Old cards are not considered proof)

You must present a New York State Driver's License and one of the following:

  1. Real Estate Tax Bill
  2. Valid Voter Registration
  3. Check/Bank Statement
  4. Utility Bill (O&R or Verizon)

 

Note: If under 18 years of age as of March 1rst, please bring proof of age (birth certificate) and your school ID card for this school year.Extra Registration forms can be obtained at the Haverstraw Town Hall

We offer a Frequent Player Membership. Your email address must be provided at the Pro Shop at all times. If you do not have your Frequent Player Membership you WILL NOT receive the reduced rate.
