Ann McGovern

Born and raised in the Village of Haverstraw, Ann graduated from St.Peter's School and Haverstraw High School.

Ann worked for the Village of Haverstraw for 10 years and served as Court Clerk, Clerk to the Building Inspector, Clerk to the Assessor, Clerk to the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals and Registrar.

In 1998 Ann accepted the position as Receiver of Taxes for the Town of Haverstraw and was re-elected in November of 2001 to her second term as Receiver.
