Born and raised in Garnerville, NY. Attended local schools and graduated from the Haverstraw-Stony Point Central School district in 1961.
I have worked for the Town of Haverstraw Highway Dept. for over 16 years in various positions. I was elected to the office of Superintendent of Highways in 2000 where
I am currently serving my fourth year.
Over the years I have been involved in many phases of road construction. I have worked at least 40 years as a truck and auto mechanic. I owned and operated Centennial
Trucking Inc. for 5 years, and worked with Ward Pavement, Haverstraw. I have also worked for the County Highway Dept. and have operated "R" Garage Inc. a family owned business.
Married for 40 years to Joyce Brooks of Stony Point, NY. We have three children, Frank Jr., James and Susan. We also have 5 grandchildren.
Politics have been in my family for many years. My father Howard (Pete) Brooks was a Town Councilman for many years with the Town of Haverstraw.
It has been a pleasure serving the town residents for the past few years, and I hope to do so for many years to come.
